Rug Format
One of the most popular sizes in an antique Persian rugs is the four feet by about six foot range piece and is largely considered the most prolifically produced format. Rug formats can go up to about five feet by seven feet and then there is a little grey area, turning into a small carpet at six feet by nine feet.
